MEDICAL MISSIONS
In August 2024
The Medical Committee of the Ijaw Women of America Inc. led by the Founding President of IWA Eunice Bratua Apreala successfully completed our goals for the year by spearheading two major health initiatives in Bonny Kingdom and Odoni Kingdom in Ijaw Nation.
These activities were carefully planned and executed, aiming to provide essential medical services, raise health awareness, and address critical health needs within these communities. The committee's unwavering commitment, combined with the generosity of our supporters, enabled us to raise the necessary funds to ensure the mission’s success.
The health missions in Bonny and Odoni Kingdoms were not only about delivering medical care but also about strengthening the bond between the Ijaw Women of America and the local communities. Through these initiatives, we were able to offer free medical consultations, distribute essential medications, and provide vital health education. The positive impact of these activities is a testament to the power of collective action and the shared vision of promoting better health and well-being for all in IJAW land.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to making these missions a success, from the volunteers and medical professionals to our donors and supporters. Your efforts have made a real difference in the lives of many.
For those interested in a more detailed account of the activities, outcomes, and the overall impact of our health initiatives in Bonny and Odoni Kingdoms, we invite you to request a copy of the full detailed report by contacting info@ijawwomenofamerica.com. We look forward to continuing our work and expanding our reach to more Ijaw communities in the years to come.
